Bitcasa coupon codes5/2/2023 The interface shows "My Infinite Drive" at the top, overlaid on a storage device icon with a small arrow next to it (see the image and slideshow). The Bitcasa iPhone app looks like no other file-syncing app I've seen. I love some of the little extras in the settings, like the ability to clear the image thumbnail cache as well as temporary files in your account. I love the speed at which Bitcasa plays music natively, and the quick-jump music button to bring you back to the player if you navigate away while a song is on. I love the interface, which gives you two ways to explore the content in your account. In testing, Bitcasa's iPhone app (free) was compelling to navigate and explore, but it also turned up a few bugs (all related to photos, by the way). But for a file-syncing service to really win me over, it has to have a great mobile suite of apps. The free account isn't shabby either, giving users a whopping 10GB, no questions asked. The offer is compelling: unlimited storage, unlimited file-version history, chat, and email support are all included. When Bitcasa arrive on the file-syncing scene, it enticed users by offering "unlimited storage" for a reasonably small annual price-$69 during a promo phase, which has since been raised to $99 per year. Now if your criteria is a date, there seems to be a way? but I didn't understand as to explain it here. Thus the filter expression is: (Remember to respect upper/lowercase in both "targets") Then "USD" is the target string and Currency is the targetcolumn. Just use the following formula (copy/paste into the "filter expression" box): įor example imagine you need to generate a dataset that contains only those rows where the column "Currency" is "USD". If the column to be used as criteria is a text, then it becomes a bit cumbersome, but not really difficult. You can use several conditions using and and or. For example if you want to create a database which includes only rows where the values of the column COL1 are higher than 23, then the expression is COL1 > 23. Just select the data you want to filter, and use the expression as in math. If the criteria is a number, it is quite straightforward. So, can we filter data which meets a particular criteria? The current answer seems to be: It depends on the type of data (of the criteria). When using the GUI, dates and text do not work as "simple" as with numbers. One would think that there should be a direct correspondence with the implementation of the GUI, but this is obviously not the case. However it is presented under the "Commands and API" section. In the current manual it says (page 29) that the "FilterDatasets" command "works on 1D numeric, date or text datasets.". If there is a bit more documentation or advice somewhere, I would very much appreciate it. It looks like Veusz can do exactly what I need, but pretty clearly there's something I don't get. However, all I got were syntax error messages. I tried using both examples 1 and 2, following the links, which seemed very clear and easy to understand. This creates two new datasets which you can than plot or process otherwise: Creating two new datasets: A_filtered and B_filtered B>1 and choose the correct datasets to filter. The other way is to create a filter, using Data > Filter - you can give an expression, i.e. Of course I have to do the same for x, otherwise the correlation is false: Using boolean expression as graph input What I did was ydata=B to filter against values greater than 1. I have two datasets with A=1:10:0.1 and B=sin(A)+1. If you only want to filter for plotting you can do exactly what you were describing: using a boolean expression as filter when defining x and y data. "Reddit gave me a hard time posting images. Reddit post by Kaugummiheld in answer to a post "Veusz approach/alternative to boolean indexing?" Well, I sort of found my answer, but it doesn't seem to work: To put it another way, I commonly don't know exactly what I need to plot beforehand. It often takes a lot of comparison of different things in different ways before I can figure out what that data are showing. I should mention that the reason that I would like to filter data sets like this is that I work with rock and water geochemical data, which is very messy. I've read through on-line help and manual documents, and a lot of these Reddits, which have a lot of great material, but not quite what I'm looking for. Maybe there's a way to do the same thing in the data set editor. I've noticed there are ways to show different colors for data points, so there might be a way to make points invisible if they don't match the criteria. I've tried the Filter Data tool (funnel-shaped icon), but I'm not sure if that's the right tool, and in any case I haven't been able to figure out the expression syntax. In Veusz, as I understand it, I would add three XY widgets, but I haven't figured out how to plot only one type for each widget. In Coplot, a subset of each data set can be made using Plot-If-True Boolean expressions, like this: col(1)=1, which is read: If column 1 (Type) equals 1, plot the data point. What I would like to do is plot the 3 samples of each different Type using different colors and symbols, such as Type 1 as black squares, Type 2 as red circles, and Type 3 as blue triangles. Us papyrus5/2/2023 The best sheets would be used for its ends, since they received the most wear and tear, and lesser quality sheets for its inner sections. A typical roll was usually constructed of papyrus sheets of varying quality. The finest papyrus was made using the innermost pith layers and was said to have come from the Delta region. Where the papyrus plants were grown, the age of the plants, the season when they were harvested, and most importantly, the layer of pith used in manufacture were all factors that affected the quality of the finished product. Quality depended upon a number of factors. The finest and most expensive varieties were reserved for religious or literary works. Very cheaply made coarse papyrus was used by merchants to wrap items. Each type was used for a different purpose. Just like there are many different kinds and qualities of paper today, the same was true for papyrus. However, in later periods, we also find papyrus books, called codex, which finally triumphed over the roll. In fact, papyrus sheets were usually not sold individually, but in rolls (of about 20 sheets), with the fibers running in the same direction, except for the end sheets, which were reversed in order to add stringth. For longer documents, these pages were joined to create a papyrus roll (scroll). For example, Pliny, during the Greek period, describes the process somewhat differentlyĪnd included information on the various grades of Papyrus: For practical purposes, the papyrus was limited to a standard size running 47 cm in length at the most (29-33 cm on the average), and 22 cm in width, though by no means was this always so, particularly over Egypt's long history. Though during various periods of Egyptian history, this process could be slightly different, some papyrus continues to be made in a similar manner even today, for artistic purposes. Finally, after drying the surface of the sheet is polished to a smooth finish by rubbing (for example, with a shell or a piece of smooth ivory). The remaining sugar within this concoction seals the strips together. Next, this raw papyrus sheet is pounded once again, and left under a heavy weight (usually a stone slab) to dry for approximately six days. A second set of strips are placed at right angles to the first, again overlapping slightly. Next, the strips are pounded and the water drained away, after which they are placed side by side, overlapping slightly. Strips are next soaked in water to remove the sugar content. Quality of the papyrus strips decline as the strips are taken further from the center of the yellowish-white pith. The best of these strips, from the perspective of quality, comes from the center. After harvesting, the outer fibers are peeled away and the core of the stalk and sliced into very thin strips that are as broad as possible. The plant grows to a height of about ten feet. Technically, it is Cyperus papyrus, a part of the sedge family. Papyrus was, and continues today to be made from the papyrus reed that grows in freshwater marshes along the river Nile, though today this growth is rare and controlled. Furthermore, the papyrus root was a source of food, medicine and perfume. Besides its use for producing a medium for writing purposes, papyrus was also used for mattresses on beds, for building chairs, tables, and other furniture as well as for mats, baskets, boxes, sandals, utensils, rope and boats. It's use continued until about the 11th century AD. The earliest extant documented papyrus comes from Egypt's 1st Dynasty, but we believe it may have been used as early as 4,000īC. It was light, strong, thin, durable and easy to carry, and for thousands of years, there was nothing better for the purpose of writing. They found this in their papyrus plant, a triangular reed which symbolized ancient lower Egypt. At about the same time as the ancient Egyptians moved from prehistory to history by developing a written language, they discovered the need for a medium other than stone to transcribe upon. Our English word "paper", is derived from the word "papyrus", an Egyptian word that originally meant "that which belongs to the house" (the bureaucracy of ancient Egypt). It's awesome at interrupting the enemies's spell casting. If you need some more advice with Colette I'd say that while Para ball is her best arte in the GC version of Symphonia, you shouldn't underestimate Ray satellite either. She also has one where she will always successfully steal from an enemy if she hits with Item Thief/Rover. I don't remember the combos off the top of my head, but it's easy to get Life Thief and Spirit Thief at the same time, which will give her HP and TP for every combo she does. Raine's magic is better and they and Genis will delay each other if they're casting at the same time. I basically never use her angel skills except for the Gospel U. Just remember that several of her techs have a little delay at the start so you'll either need distance from the enemy or para ball hitstunning them to continue the combo safely. Para Ball is THAT good that you'll pretty much always want to use it. If you want to link a level 1 -> 2 -> 3 tech string, Ray Thrust is your only option since Pow Hammer can't link to Para Ball. Whirlwind Rush is also a good combo ender. If there's enemies around, I will link into Ring Cyclone or Triple Ray Thrust instead for crowd control. If the enemy doesn't guard Para Ball I will usually go into Grand Chariot or Triple Ray Satellite. I usually use the upward attack, then Para Ball followed by one of her level 3 techs. I'm sure you know this, but her forward and down attack strings have her use a projectile, which is cool but situational since she has to spin around before throwing her chakram. I usually use her upward attack because it's faster to start combos. I personally find Colette's regular attack string to be slow and awkward. With Elemental Guard/Circlet, Star Bracelet, and/or Persian Boots she can nullify or absorb several elements. I think Colette's luck stat is involved as well? Even without Toss Hammer, Pow Hammer is a really good move with a high damage multiplier.Ĭolette also has great endgame equipment options. The toss hammer chance gets higher the more Colette has used Pow Hammer. Since poison damage is a percentage of max HP, it can destroy bosses in under a minute. Pow Hammer has a chance to become Toss Hammer when used, which will poison an enemy if it hits and works on bosses. I use TRT to farm kills for the devil's arms because often you can instantly kill 3-4 weak enemies at once with it from far away. Triple Ray Thrust is amazing for crowd control. Hammer Rain will do insane damage on large enemies if you can pull it off (really good for the dragon knight battle in the coliseum). Para ball is too good to pass up for the T side of her tech tree, but if you're not opposed to the tech glitch there's a couple of techs that are great. Torrential Para Ball for some reason doesn't do as much damage as Para Ball but it can be good for combos plus the stun the lightning can inflict. Para Ball and Grand Chariot have amazing damage multipliers. Most people write her off, but Colette is seriously one of the most powerful characters in ToS. Yakuza kiwami majima disguise5/2/2023 "Lord of the Night" where I'm brought to the bar and he's tending.Note these are not necessarily in order to when I encountered them, just what I do remember encountering: helping the Florist's son at the batting cages or at the bathhouse Shangri-La). I've finished both Rina and Yuki's substories and maxed both of their affinities, I've played at least 1 game of every minigame that he apparently tries to challenge you to (darts, pool, bowling) and then tried to get him to challenge me, but the only one I was successful with was darts but for whatever reason the others don't want to trigger.įor the sake of reference, I'll try to list all of the instances that I've encountered Majima that didn't pertain directly to the story itself (i.e. I've attempted to get this to trigger several times, going so far as to enter the building, read 1 of the 10 possible options, then backing out, exiting the store, looking around a little (around corners, in/behind vehicles, down the streets, etc) and re-entering and repeating the same steps for all 10 options, just to see if one option would specifically trigger it, or if it was just a matter of RNG (ironic, I know.) None of them did anything for this particular trigger and at the same time, none of them seemed to put him anywhere on the map that was noticeable. Supposedly one instance where you can encounter him is he jumps you outside the M Store after reading a magazine off the wrack and exiting the store. Yeah I thought that might help too so I've done that several times at several different stores. 引用自 INANE:Maybe enter some store a few times, he occasionally disappeared from my playthrough as well and that helped with issue. in/around cars, patrolling, in the manholes or cones, etc) and according to guides, most of anything else that I could get him to show up for requires me to be a certain rank above what I am at, which I can't seem to fix because none of the events for him are happening and I'm concerned it's due to the fact I blew past the few that were scripted back in chapter 4 and those are now lost to me unless I restart.Īny suggestions on anything I might be missing or can try to make him show up or am I unfortunately doomed to not get any further with it because I wasn't "completionist" enough early on? I don't ever notice him around town (i.e. The only minigame I got him to show up for was darts (which I won) but everything else he doesn't show up for. Apparently the next one was also in chapter 4 and you're supposed to run into him in the southern alleyway in the Champion District, but I didn't go through there in Chapter 4 and now that I'm at the finale I can't get it to trigger at all and nothing else seems to be popping up either. But that's the last one I did, outside Millenium. So for example Chapter 2 outside of Gindaco Highball Tavern and the rest apparently being in chapter 4 like the one outside of the Millenium Tower where he's dressed as a cop. I've looked up a few guides and I've noticed that there are apparently scripted encounters that you get to come up by playing into certain chapters. Well now I'm all the way to the end of the game basically and I'm still only rank F, just a hair short of E and can't seem to find him anywhere or get him to appear anywhere other than what got me to where I'm at. So far I'm not all too disappointed, but the Majima Everywhere mechanic is starting to drive me insane.Ĭurrently I've powered through the main story line, now sitting at the finale chapter where I'm left the option to explore the city and work on any "unfinished business before going further." I was under the impression (given by how the game explains this mechanic) that I didn't have to pursue Majima, he'd just come up randomly here or there as I played normally. So I just picked up this game after playing through and finishing 0 finally and couldn't help but want to keep the train rolling. Vex strikes destiny 25/2/2023 Throw a flag down and jump on the sphere to be propelled to the first boss fight.ĭata Nullifier - Gather data & take shelter When you reach the end, climb the jumble of blocks to the rally flag. The blocks are long with their perimeter marked by holographic rectangles. You must crouch-walk through a narrow and slanted section with piston blocks threatening to push you out. This is a small structure but one that can difficult to traverse. You can sort of see its size by the collection of holographic rectangles or the block itself. When you reach the end, follow the temporary blocks down to the next structure. Go through and move through the hallway that has the triangular doors. You’ll reach the top of the structure with a path in in. Simply follow the path or move toward the next group of enemies. The mission will now direct you to continue exploring the Vex Network. Continue exploring the Vex Network Jump down the disappearing blocks to the structure ahead. Once all the Vex are defeated, the portals will deactivate and the barrier will drop. Once the two rooms are cleared, you’ll need to defeat a swarm of Vex including a powerful Wyvern called a Digital Variant Neutralizer. Defeat the Vex and the barrier will drop, granting you access to the next section. Locate the symbols and enter them as you did before. Look out for the Cyclops and Wyverns stalking the area. The second Access Code room is the same as the first, albeit with stronger foes. You must do this a few times before you can access the next room. Shooting an incorrect shape will reset the pattern. If they disappear, just wait until they come back. The shapes around the Conflux phase in and out on a timer. Destroy them in the order they appear on the wall, starting at the top. The goal is to locate a set of symbols on the wall and destroy the shapes that appear around the Conflux. You will enter a small arena teeming with Vex. Explore the Vex Network – Enter Access Codes From here, it’s all about combat and remembering patterns. You’ll be teleported through what looks like a huge vat of radiolarian fluid and into the Vex Network. Go down the slide, down the drop, and done through the green tunnel. Look for the small gap in the wall at the back of the trench section. At the back is a small hole in the wall to slip through. Move through the trenches to reach a fork in the road, going left or right takes you to the back side of a central structure. There will be blocks that slide back and forth, revealing and blocking your path. The first part of the Avalon mission is to work your way through the Vex trenches. Enter the cave and work your way to the back, part of the wall will disappear – go inside to find a friendly Vex Harpy and the starting point of the mission. Look for a light on the rock wall beside the cave which itself is full of red lights. The entrance is to the right of the Lost Sector when looking at the map. The mission is found in a cave along the southern side of The Gulch. Once you complete the mission, you can launch it at any time from the EDZ map. Go inside and interact with the Vex dome beside the friendly Harpy. The mission is first started by visiting the cave marked with an "X" on the map. When all six Vex nodes are gathered, you will have an on-screen buff called Simulated Cave Access Code: 53-43-52-49-42-45. Grab the Vex nodes in this order, that way the last one (six) is close to where you find the cave (x). When all six are collected, you’ll be beckoned to a cave along the southern side of the area where the Exotic mission begins. The time extends each time you grab a node. You then have 30 seconds to collect the next one until all six are collected. Standing near these Vex nodes will collect it and add a set of digits to your screen. There are six Vex cubes to find in the Gulch on the EDZ. Prepare for a decent fight, lots of enemies, and multi-phases bosses! Players first discovered it while doing activities in The Gulch, which is where you’ll find some Vex cubes and the starting point of the mission, ////. A new Exotic mission has appeared in Destiny 2 called The Variable that rewards a new Exotic weapon, Vexcalibur. Saturnalia meaning5/2/2023 Saturnalia was an ancient Roman festival in honour of the deity Saturn held on December 17 of the Julian calendar and later expanded with festivities through December 23. In particular, the historical western European Christmas custom of electing a "Lord of Misrule" may have its roots in Saturnalia celebrations.įreebase 0.0 / 0 votes Rate this definition: Saturnalia may have influenced some of the customs associated with later celebrations in western Europe occurring in midwinter, particularly traditions associated with Christmas, the Feast of the Holy Innocents, and Epiphany. The Neoplatonist philosopher Porphyry interpreted the freedom associated with Saturnalia as symbolizing the "freeing of souls into immortality". It held theological importance for some Romans, who saw it as a restoration of the ancient Golden Age, when the world was ruled by Saturn. The poet Catullus called it "the best of days".Saturnalia was the Roman equivalent to the earlier Greek holiday of Kronia, which was celebrated during the Attic month of Hekatombaion in late midsummer. The gifts exchanged were usually gag gifts or small figurines made of wax or pottery known as sigillaria. A common custom was the election of a "King of the Saturnalia", who gave orders to people, which were followed and presided over the merrymaking. The holiday was celebrated with a sacrifice at the Temple of Saturn, in the Roman Forum, and a public banquet, followed by private gift-giving, continual partying, and a carnival atmosphere that overturned Roman social norms: gambling was permitted, and masters provided table service for their slaves as it was seen as a time of liberty for both slaves and freedmen alike. Camtasia 2021 mac5/2/2023 The system itself allows farmers to create electronic versions of something called an Animal Status Declaration (ASD) form, which you can read about here and can also be filled out by farmers using printed ASD forms that OSPRI provide to farmers. The system itself isn't overly complex to use, but staff within the Contact Centre (in particular) needed to become familiar with it to support farmers making use of the system. The system that OSPRI was launching 4 months after I arrived was a new system that will have functionality added to it over a series of minor (point) and major releases. And because my belief is that it's important to call out software for how it could be improved, you'll find that a lot of the article is about things that I found frustrating with Camtasia.so I decided to describe the article as a critique.īut let's first look at why Camtasia was selected for use at OSPRI. The reason being is that I'm not intending to go into the detail of what Camtasia can do (that's demonstrated much more effectively in this superb video tutorial) but instead focus on how I use the software and some of the things I like or don't like about it. I have to start by saying that I decided early on not to describe this article as a review. The following is a discussion about my experience with Camtasia for the first time over the past few months. Never having used Camtasia before, I investigated, agreed and then set about producing the micro videos. The selection of software to use was ultimately my decision, but it was suggested that Camtasia would be the most effective tool. In April of this year I began a contract with OSPRI as a Learning Designer, with a lot of the work focused on the development of micro videos for staff training.
